Dear Drew and family,
Nothing I could say can take away your sorrow, but I am sorry for you loss. Your mom was a great lady, and she will be missed. She was a friend to everyone she met. I met her at Scott Community College while we were taking classes. She always shared stories about her boys, and what you guys were doing at the time. You could tell how much she trully loved you. Take care and God Bless.

Words can not describe how I feel now that your gone! You have always been and always will be my favorite teacher! But to me you were so much more than just a teacher i had 9 years ago! I called you anytime i had a paper due in high school and college! We always went out to applebees for eachothers birthdays ;) and just when we wanted to catch up! Half that chocolote on your desk was bought by me for gifts that you never ate you always said it meant too much to only enjoy once why not make it a decoration for forever! You influenced me in everything i do in school and some of the things i do in life! My heart aches for your family, u always talked about victoria and teddy and i had the pleasure of knowing them as well! I love you! You will never be forgotten and forever missed... Rest in peace.
Your mother was my son's teacher this past year and I had the pleasure of meeting with her on several occasions. She was a very pleasant woman and I thank her for being a great teacher as well as a passionate mother, we spoke often of our children. Sounds like you were truly blessed to have her as a mother as the community was to have her as a caring teacher. Sorry for you loss, she was a kind woman. Sincerely, Michelle Johnson

So sad today as we hear about the passing of Ms. Burnaugh she was an Amazing Teacher, Maddie was Very Lucky to have her as a teacher not in one class but Four classes last year so they became very close, she took Maddie under her wing and showed her the ropes of Jr.High she pushed and pushed Maddie to help her find a Love for Reading. On a daily basis Maddie would come home from school and talk about what happen in Ms Burnaugh's class. She always told me what a great kid I have I only wish I would have got the chance to tell her what an Amazing teacher she was.
