Ethelyn D. Faudel, 92, of Branson, MO and formerly of Davenport, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson. Services in celebration of her life will take place at 10:30 AM Monday, March 8, 2010 at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. The family will greet friends from 9 AM until just before services begin at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport, or a charity of choice.

Ethelyn Elder was born in Essex, Iowa in 1917, a daughter of Wallace and Clara Elder. On July 2, 1939, she was united in marriage to Edward G. Faudel in Jackson, Minnesota. She was employed by the Roy E. Roth Co. as an auditor for 24 years, retiring in 1979. Mr. Faudel preceded her in death in 1988.

An active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport for many years, Ethelyn was a member of the St. Paul Senior Social Group, the Service Day Ladies, the Meal Site and the Breakfast Club.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Cleone and Larry Moehl of Forsyth, MO; her son, Edward W. Faudel, and wife, Carol of Sun City West, Arizona ; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Dr. Edmund Ferguson of Rockville, Indiana.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Peck, and a grandson, Chris Larsen.
