Services for Arleen Havill, 94, Pleasant Valley, Iowa, will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road, Davenport. Visitation is Tuesday, February 23, 2010, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Havill died Friday, February 19, 2010, at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley.
Memorials may be made to Our Savior Presbyterian Church, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Heartland Hospice or Genesis VNA and Hospice.
Arleen was born in 1915, in Cedar County, Iowa, to Alfred and Ella Moeller. She married Eldon Havill on April 30, 1941, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport. He died in 2001.
Arleen was a homemaker and an active partner with her husband on Havill’s Dairy Farm near LeClaire, Iowa. She was a member of Our Savior Presbyterian Church, LeClaire and was active in the L.O.A. Women’s group.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannine and Jim Robertson, Maricopa, Arizona, and Janice and Terrill Baner, Moline, Illinois; son and daughter-in-law Dean and Patty Havill, LeClaire; daughter-in-law Tammy Joyce and husband Dave, Geneseo, Illinois; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Josephine Moeller, Bettendorf and Jean Moeller, LeClaire.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Dale; her sisters, Gladys Lage and Lucile Goettsch; and her brother, Donald Moeller.
