Michael (Mickey) Patty, 52, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Bettendorf Health Care Center. Services will be held at 10AM Wed., Feb. 17th, at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, where the family will greet friends from 9 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. The family invites all to a gathering in Mickey’s honor at Happy Hollow, 14th and Washington, Davenport, following the services.

Mickey was born in 1958 in Galesburg, IL to Phillip N. and Patricia A. Patty. He was a self-employed carpenter. Mickey loved sports, Illini basketball, the Cubs, the Bears, and the Broncos; Nascar (Kasey Kahne), and camping outdoors. He was anxious to return to the Rocky Mountains of Denver.

Survivors include his soul mate, Debby Fenn, of Bettendorf; son, Creston Fenn; mother and step-father, Patricia (Craig) Hoefflin of Clinton, IA; sisters, Dawn Patty, and Deborah Patty, both of Davenport; brothers, Jay Patty, and Todd Patty, both of Clinton; and beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Those left to honor his courage and his memory are his family and many lifelong friends.
