Davenport- Memorial services celebrating the life of Susan E. Lazenby, age 64, of Davenport will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday February 10, 2010 at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly at Jersey Ridge Road. The Rev. John Grebner will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. till services time. Burial is private.
Memorials may be made to the family, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice, Bettendorf or Grace Lutheran Church, Davenport.

Susan passed away Saturday February 6, 2010 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice. She was born in 1945 the daughter of Harry F. & Helen L. Blecker. She graduated from Davenport Central High School, class of 1963.
Her marriage was to Stan Lazenby in April 1969 in Independence, MO.

She worked for 18 years as a secretary at Palmer College of Chriopractic, up until her illness. She also worked as an in home assistant for Home Instead.
Her memberships include Grace Lutheran Church and the Neil Diamond Fan Club.

Susan loved reading, crocheting and most especially loving and caring for her cat Harvey.

Survivors include her son John (Jennifer) Lazenby; grandchildren Blayne, Kadia, Keegan and Addison Lazenby;
sister Judy (Ron) Norgard; niece Cathy Norgard, all of Davenport; nephew Brian (Tonya) Norgard and their children Shelby & Lily, of Walcott; aunts Pearl Wortman, Davenport and Carolyn Mueck, Rock Island; and her uncle George Blecker, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and also Leland Kinnard and Bob Mayer.

Susan's family would like to thank Dr. Mario Sy; Genesis West Oncology Dept and Clarissa C. Cook Hospice for their care and Support.
