Raising the standard for local cemeteries and providing a wonderful alternative to corporate cemetery management, Oakdale Memorial Gardens is an historic, independent, and non-profit cemetery with a rich local history. Located on Eastern Avenue in the heart of Davenport, Oakdale Memorial Gardens is also one of the Quad-Cities’ oldest and most beautiful cemeteries, boasting century-old oaks, gentle rolling hills and knolls, and a beautiful reflecting pond near the cemetery entrance.

If your house is anything like ours, your pet is very much a part of the family. Wanting the very best for your pet is what “Love of Animals Petland” is all about. Established as a memorial to honor Sandy Weerts and her love for all animals, “Love of Animals Petland” is a reserved section of the cemetery for the burial of our special friends, our pets. This special section does not adjoin any other burial areas. Love of Animals Petland is gently graced with reflecting benches, a pathway of personalized pavers, and a collection of rare and dwarf conifers set against a backdrop of natural woods. You may even see some deer peer out of the woods as you pay a visit to this special place! If you have questions about Love of Animals Petland, please call Oakdale Memorial Gardens at 563.324.5121. You may also email us if you prefer, and we will forward your inquiry to the Oakdale staff. |

Jazz Great Bix Beiderbecke. Always a memorable occasion during the Bix Festival
